Murder and mayhem - can anyone stop it?
It starts out as a normal day at the Reading Young Offender's Institute for Emma Harrison. Still drained from the psychological battle of wills with the Whisperer, she is hoping for a period of calm. But her hopes are dashed when a new inmate attacks the institute's doctor Geoff Fox and a prisoner murders Jack Walker, the art teacher. With an inmate holding the remaining terrified teachers hostage and refusing to let the police investigate the murder, Emma calls her boyfriend for help with the stalemate.
As Sgt Billy Williams, enters the education block alone, with his forensic kit as his only weapon, grievances, differences and secrets begin to emerge along with the evidence.
