Texas Yankee

Rather than fight in the Civil War, Dan Canby chose to provide food and goods for those left behind - naturally at a profit, because a man had to live. But when the peace came, and the despised Northerners descended on Texas like a plague of locusts, Dan had another kind of war on his hands. A ruthless soldier was out to restrict all trade, and he had the Union Army to back him. Canby would have trouble if he didn't stand up to the bluecoat -and a battle to the death if he did.
