Annette Dashofy, a Pennsylvania farm gal born and bred, grew up with horses, cattle, and, yes, chickens. After high school, she spent five years as an EMT for the local ambulance service. Since then, she's worked a variety of jobs, giving her plenty of fodder for her lifelong passion for writing. She, her husband, and their two spoiled cats live on property that was once part of her grandfathers dairy. Her short fiction, including a 2007 Derringer nominee, has appeared in Spinetingler, Mysterical-e, and Fish Tales: the Guppy Anthology.

Annette Dashofy recommends
Bone Pendant Girls (2024)
Terry S Friedman
"Wow! Terry S. Friedman's page-turner debut kept me up late into the night and continues to haunt me long after finishing this ghostly tale of murdered girls who speak from the grave. Beautifully written, Friedman's lyrical style will lure you in and scare you senseless."
The Navigator's Daughter (2022)
(Kat Lawson Mystery, book 1)
Nancy Cole Silverman
"Silverman's tale of a daughter's journey to discover her father's past held me totally captivated and unable to put this riveting novel down. Kat Lawson is equal parts wounded, loyal, and brave, with a healthy dose of skepticism-the kind of heroine I would love to meet in person."
Front Page Murder (2022)
(Homefront News Mystery, book 1)
Joyce St Anthony
"A strong, take-charge female protagonist and a twisty plot to keep readers guessing . . . I fell in love with [Irene Ingram] and know you will too!"
