My name is Gabby, and my life just isn’t what I pictured growing up.
I had so many dreams when I was little, most especially having parents that loved me.
Now I’m an earthbound demon heading in for training to become a Deputy Handler. Something I’ve never even thought about becoming before. How could I, when I lived in fear of Handlers since I was little?
And now I get to become one.
Training comes fast and furious, and it’s up to me to learn how to become this new version of me and pick up everything I need to become a deputy handler. Someone that can help my new favorite Handler, Koby, with his admittedly difficult job.
Too bad at least one of my classmates has it out for me. He may be an annoying butthead, but he’s persistent. That on top of everything else?
Let’s just say that I sometimes wonder if I can do this and stay sane and relatively free of splattered blood. Here’s to succeeding and graduating.
