Stranded in London when the EMP strikes, Katie is in a race against time to flee the sprawling city before it descends into chaos.

She's at the airport, heading home after attending her father's funeral when the power cuts out, plunging her into a dark and dangerous world where only the strong survive. With planes plummeting from the sky, she takes an orphaned girl under her wing and together they race to her grandfather's house while the doomed city burns to the ground.

With rioters, looters, and roving killer gangs in her way, Katie is losing faith, and with the city in lock down, escape is easier said than done. And when she's kidnapped by a pair of opportunistic brothers and sold into slavery, she must make a choice: control or be controlled.
