"Who would want to kill this beautiful lady?" This is the first question Gage Hartline utters after seeing her picture. Her nickname is the Ukrainian Oil Princess. She's already survived two assassination attempts - more are sure to come. A billion-dollar deadline looms, and her enemies must kill her beforehand in order to cash in. When Gage signs on to protect her, he thinks the job will be rather basic. The mission: keep the Oil Princess alive for a few weeks, while getting lost somewhere in scenic Europe. Piece of cake, right? Then he meets her and quickly learns the Ukrainian Oil Princess has a mind of her own. She insists she doesn't want to run and hide. She wants to strike back - and who better to help her than Gage Hartline? While the Princess and Gage are chasing her enemies, the world's foremost assassin is chasing her. Gage finds himself caught in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse that tracks him and his client through Italy, Switzerland, Germany and finally, back to Ukraine - where her enemies reside. Running and hiding would be much easier. Gage would earn a nice paycheck and the Ukrainian Oil Princess could go on living. But that wouldn't be any fun, now, would it?
