The Kaleidoscope

Ted Croner buys a nondescript kaleidoscope at a yard sale, unaware of its magic properties. Whenever someone changes what it displays, they also alter the physical world, and only the user notices the differences. It might lead him to his perfect life, or his worst nightmare.
