You Should Let Me Love You

After the death of their grandmother in one of the most infamous neighborhoods in Philadelphia, Samir and his little brother, Damon, are left to fend for themselves in Strawberry Mansion. By the ages of fifteen and twelve, the two brothers had turned into the most successful stick-up kids on the streets of Philly, and their reputations followed them into adulthood. As adults, Damon sticks to what he knows... robbing local street hustlers. This causes attention from the unwanted competition and starts to prove deadly after an unexpected enemy emerges. Samir turns into a dope boy, working the very streets he had robbed over the years. He is caught in a drug sweep and finds himself behind bars, where he learns that his brother had unimaginably betrayed him. Upon his release, he meets the sweet and angelic Angel, his probation officer. Because of his past, he is reluctant to give all of himself to her, but Angel finds her way into his heart. Will she be able to keep it? Angel fought her attraction to Samir with everything in her, but against her better judgment, she crosses every line and steps into the fire with him to find love. The stakes are high for her, in dealing with a man like Samir, but she is willing to risk it all. The only problem is that Angel is hoping Samir will renounce his dope boy lifestyle... but Samir has no plans to do so.
