Juliette McNamara is a beautiful, intelligent (albeit a bit dingy) small-town librarian who writes spicy romance books on the side. But she has a bit of writer's block, so she books herself a cottage on a Caribbean Island so she can concentrate.
Reno Swain, also known as Reno Swoon by puck bunnies everywhere, is a hockey player with his career up in the air. While he tries to figure out what to do, he goes on the trip his former fiancée booked for them.
When Juli and Reno run into each other at the resort, the chemistry is instantaneous. Juliette's writer's block seems to disappear as Reno's gorgeous green eyes and muscular forearms inspire some of the spiciest scenes she's ever written. They agree it's only a vacation fling... nothing more.
The problem? Neither of them planned to develop feelings for the other.
