Kate Donovan

Born in Ohio and raised there and in Rhode Island, She moved to California in high school and now lives in the Sacramento area with her husband Paul, son and daughter. Paul is mentioned in many of her book dedications. Until recently, she had a sweet dog named Murphy and a charming cat named Scooter. But lost both of them last year to the ravages of old age.

She is an attorney as well as a writer.
