In 1860's Boulder, Colorado, there was plenty of wealth to be found. When beautiful and independent Hannah Barkley answers a "wives wanted" advertisement from the fledgling town, she intends to regain the wealth she had lost during the Civil War, but not by marrying any of the undesirable suitors she meets when she gets off the train. She wants her own business!
However, wealthy cattle rancher, Jeremy Parks, has other plans. He wants to marry the aristocratic Richmond woman, giving her everything she could desire…except her independence. Things become even more complicated for Hannah when she meets the brother of her best friend; a young and carefree missionary carpenter who has decided to settle in Boulder.
Who will be charming enough to win Hannah’s heart? The wealthy rancher or the down to earth carpenter?
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Although this is book 2 in the Boulder Brides Series…it can be read as a standalone. If you’ve already read book 1, then you’ll enjoy reading more about those familiar characters and the growing town of Boulder!
Genre: Inspirational
