The Barboza Credentials

Joe Hickey, a retired Rhodesian policeman, operates a lucrative but shady business selling mining equipment to blacklisted countries. His office is in Portuguese Mozambique, and when the colony gains independence, the new government no longer turns a blind eye to his activities. His office is closed, his representative is killed and he finds himself caught between native police and old-guard Portuguese who blackmail him to get a fugitive ex-general out of the country.
