It’s not necessary to read the books in this series in order, however, you will gain a deeper appreciation for the events in this novel if you read Trouble and Bedlam first, since some of the characters from those books appear in this one. This book takes place roughly two years after Anne and Vicious’ story began, and a year after Sandra and Gar.
