A novel by

Wicked witches. Murder. Mystery.

Witches, mummies, and one ring to fool them all.

Vega Bloodmire thinks her biggest problem in life is getting her lesson plans done on time while thwarting her sasquatch roommate from becoming a multi-realm terrorist who wants to blow up Fae-run work camps for sentient furry creatures.

As usual, Vega is wrong.

Vega uses forbidden magic to rescue Hazel and her brother from the Silver Court—making herself a fugitive. In the process, the Raven Court discovers that Vega possesses an ancient Egyptian ring that once was worn by a finger she found in her supposedly vegan ice cream. This ring isn’t just wanted by the Fae but also by a mysterious Witchkin group known as the Cult of Osiris who want to resurrect a dead god.

Targeting Vega’s weaknesses, the Raven Court attacks her students and kidnap them. Only if Vega hands over the ring, will they release her students. But Vega knows nothing is that easy when dealing with the Fae. They will find a way to betray her.

Will Vega be able to outsmart the Raven Court and get back the students before her enemies hurt them? Or will the cult get her and the ring first?

This book starts with Vega Bloodmire’s life before working at Womby’s School for Wayward Witches when she was a new and inexperienced teacher at Lady of the Lake School for Girls. Ghoul Power is the 28th book in the series of mysteries. The book takes place at a magical academy, but these whodunnits are fine to be read in any order.

Clean, cozy, no sex or swearing, PG 13—perfectly fine for teens or grandmas who like mysteries with magic.
