The third book in this Humorous Christian Romance Series for all ages is a mixture of young love and nostalgic trips back through time. Residents of Aylesford Place are swept back into a time by Big Band music of the 1940s and rock and roll of the 1960s, getting behind the wheel of classic cars of the 1920s and 1930s, movies at the drive-in, and an older man's trip back to a fishing hole, where he teaches a young boy how to fish. The street's residents also learn about and begin to celebrate some little-known holidays, like Festival of Sleep Day, Umbrella Day, Backward Day, and Chocolate Cake Day, some with humorous consequences.
When people aren't falling in love, looking back in time, celebrating holidays together, or attending to trivial matters, like work for those who do work, they take time to frolic in Brad and Amy's gigantic new outdoor pool, or take part in a competitive game of eXtreme croquet, which is this year's version of the street's fundraiser for the orphanage. It all adds up to a rollicking good time for all, told in a lighthearted manner that should put a smile on anyone's face.
Genre: General Fiction
