Boy Blue

It is December 1944, and Hitler's silent V2 rockets fall over England. Shells rattle off production lines in factories where women are now the workforce. Chrissie, just eighteen and painfully shy, is desperate to quit. She meets and marries Jim, an airman, and is soon pregnant. As her confinement approaches she dreads the birth of a baby boy, whom she associates with the war.
