Safe and Sound (2024)
Laura McHugh
"An evocative, riveting, and gorgeously written mystery, Safe and Sound is a finely detailed exploration of complicated familial bonds and the ways in which our upbringing can hold us captive, even when we try our hardest to break free of the things that haunt us. McHugh is never afraid to take her readers to dark places, and this novel will have you turning pages long into the night."
We Are All the Same in the Dark (2020)
Julia Heaberlin
"I’m not sure I can put into words how much I loved this book: gorgeous writing, interesting characters, a unique setting, and an unsettling, surprising mystery. At one point, I actually gasped out loud from both the beauty of the writing and the shock of the story. We Are All the Same in the Dark has it all. Everyone needs to put this book on their to-be-read list right now! You can thank me later."
The Tall Man (2018)
Phoebe Locke
"From the second I opened this book, I wanted to know the truth about the Tall Man. Was he real? What did he make people do? Was it possible to escape? I couldn't put the book down until I knew. An unsettling, original page-turner you'll still be thinking about long after you reach the end."
