Return to Carlisle Bay for a Christmas that may just bring a miracle or two

After returning to Carlisle Bay, Connecticut, and rebuilding a summer romance once lost with the moonlit tide, Brady Carlisle and Olivia Shields are happier than they've ever been. All that's missing is reconnecting their families. A task only a Christmas miracle could bring. Perhaps a snowstorm and a little holiday magic may bring them all together. Although being together by circumstance rather than by choice may prove to be more salty than sweet in this coastal cove along the New England coastline. Brady wants nothing more than peace in his family, as does Olivia. When his sister, Lauren, returns to Carlisle Bay, with three kids in tow, family healing becomes the Christmas wish. Lauren may be in the midst of chaos, but finding a little comfort from friends and a cute guy in a Christmas Elf costume who's now a man and not her brother's geeky friend may help cheer her up a little. She's not ready to give her heart away, but snow makes things new again, and twinkle lights give the soul hope. If her mom can find a way to reconnect, maybe there will be a start to a holiday of rebuilding and joy for the new year.
Will this become the first of many future holidays together again, or the final break of the rushing tide?

*Sweet romance & a dash of family drama...what's Christmas without a little spice mixed with sugar?★★★★Reviewed by Maria Victoria Beltran for Readers’ Favorite

Dancing by the Christmas Lights: Carlisle Bay Duo Series by Angie Ellington is the second installment of this enjoyable series. Brady Carlisle and Olivia Shields are in love and happy together in Carlisle Bay, Connecticut. The couples life is almost perfect, but Brady is worried about his family. Christmas is approaching and his mom, who suffers from depression, is left home alone most of the time because his dad is always away for his part-time consulting business. His sister Lauren, who left almost thirteen years ago feeling shunned and wanting nothing to do with her family, is planning to spend Christmas with them. As the Christmas spirit pervades the bay, Brady and Olivia want the family to reconnect. Can Christmas magic erase the painful scars of yesteryears and bring the Carlisle family together?

Angie Ellington’s Dancing by the Christmas Lights is an enchanting sequel to the first book, Dancing by the Moonlight. It is a feel-good novel with interesting and real-life characters. Set during the Christmas season in the close-knit community of Carlisle Bay, the author captures the cheer and festive ambiance that always come with the season. The wintry backdrop is perfect for a story that deals with second chances. Since one of the features of Christmas is the family reunion, it also highlights misunderstanding in the family. As Brady and Olivia navigate the uncertainty of reconnecting the bonds of the Carlisle family, many of us can relate to their predicament. Nevertheless, the hint of romance in the air makes Dancing by the Christmas Lights a happy read.
