My peace and solitude are shattered when a new neighbor moves in behind me. The moment I lay eyes on the curvy, mouthy redhead, I want to steal her away to my cabin and keep her there.
Everything about her is noisy, distracting, and too much—but I like all of it.

This mountain is not big enough for the two of us. Jonas is a big brute who thinks he owns this whole mountain. I came here for my own peace, just the same as he did. My peace just happens to be louder than his. It’s the goat that makes the most noise, but she’s not going anywhere—and neither am I.
