Many of the Celestial's dark goals were revealed in the trial by fire he hosted. Later, war broke out between the forces of Heavenspan and the Wildlands. The Celestial attempted to force Du Lingfei and Bai Xiaochun to fuse, all to benefit himself. Bai Hao sacrificed himself to save Bai Xiaochun, then fought an incredible battle with the Celestial. In the end, the entire Heavenspan Realm was destroyed, and all its people were ejected into the Eternal Lands.
