Necessary Rites

To Moira Frankland, writer of fairy tales, all seems in order for Christmas, and she has agreed to take in a homeless waif over the holiday. But ten years ago the couple's daughter drowned leaving deep, unresolved grief. Her husband's MoD contract becomes worringly sinister, and the presence of a strange girl in the house proves just as disturbing.
