The Doll Strangler is back...Teenager Natalie Parkes harboured some dark and disturbing secrets. And early one Saturday morning her body is found in Singmass Close near the centre of the historic city of Eborby, a mutilated doll lying by her side. Singmass Close has a sinister past. Reputedly haunted by the ghosts of children, in the fifties it was the scene of four murders committed by a killer known as the 'Doll Strangler', who was never brought to justice. DI Joe Plantagenet wonders whether a copy cat killer is at work...or whether the Doll Strangler himself has returned to life. When the killer strikes again, Joe has to act swiftly to prevent more murders from happening. And as he closes in on another investigation involving a kidnapped model and an old lady called Alice, he comes to suspect a shockingly creepy connection between the two...
