Nicholas J Evans

Nicholas J Evans is an author and musician from Newburgh NY. Prior to his writing debut, he was a co-founding member of the Post-Hardcore group NoraStone as a guitarist. Nicholas appears on their first three studio album: Hopeless Lives & Lullaby’s, Sounds Through The Hourglass, and Mortivera.Evans departed from the band in early 2017 after relocating to Delaware with his wife and daughter, where he re-established his old hobby of writing. Following this, he won the Blue Rose Award for Horror with the short story, Body & Spirit. After, he won the Kaiju Island shorty story contest for a Godzilla parody story, then moved on to begin crafting novels.Order of Dust, his debut novel, was started on late 2017 using the notes section of his iPhone before converting to Google Docs. this is the first novel of his For Humans, For Demons series. In early 2019 the novel series was acquired by The Parliament House Press and released in September of 2020.Evans currently lives in Maine with his wife and three daughters. He sights inspiration from authors such as: Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Philip K Dick, Yasuhiro Nightow, and Clive Barker.
