“I have written Verses – to please myself – all my life. Incidentally, I am clear that there is a distinction between Verses and Poems: anyone can and should write Verses, very few are called upon to be Poets.
These here are divided into four sections. The first is dedicated to Harold, ending with a poem written after his death in 2008. The second is a random collection of poems, from the time before we met in 1975. The third is all connected in some way to old age...
