Ryan knew where he wanted to be in life, he was just taking a roundabout way to get there. Out in nature, where he could shift when needed, away from the prying eyes of neighbors and coworkers. Some other Bear Shifters might have just gone out into the woods to live their life that way. But Ryan's path had him chained to a desk for years, only getting to volunteer for the parks service for brief moments. It didn't matter, because now he was about to get the promotion he deserved that would let him spend his time as he needed. He knew his life all led up to this point.
