Silent War

It's 1950 and Charlie Bassett has been working in the commercial airline industry. But once in the RAF - it seems your their's forever. Called back to active duty - and leaving his friends and family behind - Charlie is sent up to Scotland for training. He doesn't where he'll be sent or what he'll be doing. When it turns out that Egypt will be his next port of call he's more than a little disappointed. What could there possibly be to interest him there? Quite a lot as it turns out. Egypt is a land of opportunities for the enterprising mind - and Charlie is nothing if not enterprising.
