A Brand X Murder

After a long hiatus, New York Daily Press reporter "Fitz" Fitzgerald is back, still being dogged by his city editor, Ironhead Matthews, and, as always, running into trouble along the way.. "When the battered body of Bobo Watson is found, Fitz hopes to avenge his pal's death by investigating the murder. Bobo, the longstanding and well-liked piano player at Elaine's, had no enemies to speak of - except maybe his unpleasant ex-wife and her money-grubbing new boyfriend, both of whom long to cash in on Bobo's life insurance policy. But that answer seems too obvious, and it isn't long before Fritz encounters another related homicide.
