Things are heating up in Landover
Back in 1981, no one knew Gladys Pinkerton was the woman behind "Mrs. Know," the advice columnist for the Landover Gazette.
Not even her friends or family.
In fact, whenever someone had a problem, Gladys was always the first to suggest they take it to Mrs. Know. ‘It’s anonymous, you know? No one will ever find out it’s you. And it’s so good to get sound advice.’
But everything came out when Gladys was poisoned to death during the paper’s annual Potluck Cook-Off.
Now, more than 40 years later, Gladys’ ghost has come to medium detective, Carly Taylor, to figure out what happened especially since the paper’s bringing back that advice column and the potluck competition, just as a paranormal war seems to be heating up in Landover once again.
But while channeling with Gladys to 1981 and reliving all the scandals around her, the only thing Carly knows for sure is that when it comes to advice, and potlucks, it’s better to be the one dishing something out, than the one taking it.
And Landover can be a very deadly place when secrets get mixed in with everything else already brewing.
Genre: Cozy Mystery
