She has a Masters Degree in Creative Writing, has been shortlisted for numerous awards, and has worked in Adult Education for the past 20 years. She mentors young writers and ran the Reynox International Writer's Retreat until it was destroyed in the Christchurch Earthquakes of 2010.

These books, initially written as companions to her Master Classes, are easy to understand, written with humor and insight, and a must have for all aspiring writers.

The complete boxed set includes:

#1 Characters

The definitive guide for great characterization from one of the best.

"There are few authors, in my opinion, that do characters as well as Jennifer Fallon. She makes them feel both real and natural. Each has their own voice, distinct personality and a combination of strengths and flaws. Furthermore, the "bad" characters still have good qualities while the "good" characters are capable of doing very bad things..." - Dragons, Heroes and Wizards Review

#2 Dialogue

"I believe the theory behind the Defenders' red jackets, my lady, is so our enemies can't see us bleed."
Kalan signed the introduction she was writing with a flourish and looked up with a grin. "Well, that also explains the brown trousers, then, I suppose."

Jennifer Fallon's dialogue crackles off the page with wit and economy. To attend one of her master classes on this topic would cost you hundreds of dollars, assuming you could get a place before it sold out. Here is everything you she shares in her classes in one concise book.

"Jennifer Fallon's dialogue and humor is something to aspire to..." - Bestselling author, Trudi Canavan

#3 World Building

Ever wondered what goes into great world building? You'll find the answer here in this great guide for both writers and game designers.

"One of Jennifer Fallon's greatest strengths as a writer is her world building. The worlds created for her novels blend the familiar and the alien with a deft hand, conviction and detail convincing the reader not just of the physicality of the world the characters move through, but of its history and politics. There is a genuine sense of scale... a breadth and scale that suggests a broader world beyond that we have seen in the story. --The SF Site

#4 Writing a Series

There is more to writing a successful series than churning out multiple books with the same characters. There is a secret to producing a great series, and you will find it here.

It is a sad and unfortunate fact that the vast majority of series I've read have ended on a sour or disappointing note. It's partly the reason I dislike series so much. The good news is that Jennifer Fallon is an anomaly in the trend... Respiring Thoughts.com.
