Welcome to Calaway Crossing.

It isn’t always easy to find that one special person when you’re related to half the town. But being a Calaway in Calaway Crossing isn’t all bad. The seven siblings have a close bond and are the first to cheer each other on. Slowly but surely, each of them will find their way to their one and only.

Book One – Last Call

Running the Ambrose Tavern and Boarding House with his brother, Paxton knew everyone in Calaway Crossing. So, when a strange woman showed up at the bar one night, he knew she wasn’t a local.

Elaina Quintero was the new paramedic. Hired to sit in an ambulance five days a week. She loved her job, but she hated where it had taken her. This middle of nowhere town was not where she wanted to be.

Paxton found Elaina fascinating, and he was determined to show her that his tiny town had its charms. But there were two major obstacles to that. Elaina thought he was too young for her and didn’t seem to want to begin a relationship with him or anyone else. She also made it quite clear that Calaway Crossing was just a pit stop. Staying there forever was not an option.

Book Two – Compliments of the Chef

Remington and Amelia were together for eleven years, then she suddenly broke off their engagement and left town. Two years later, she returned.

It was hard on Remington Calaway when Amelia broke left. But hearing she married someone else six months later was devastating. He learned to live with it after a while, and kept himself busy running the family restaurant and bar with his brother.

The final straw was when Amelia moved back to town and bought the struggling coffee shop down the street from Remington’s restaurant. When Remington gets wind of Amelia’s financial troubles, he has a decision to make. Does he step in and help her? Or does he let her fail and be rid of her for good?

Deputy Clementine

Deputy Clementine Calaway spent her whole life trying to prove she was just as tough as her six older brothers.

Becoming a deputy in the small town of Calaway Crossing was one way to do it.

But an unexpected heart attack led to an early retirement for her beloved Chief Masters. His replacement was an outsider and a was a surprise to everyone. Booker Rafferty would have a hard time gaining the respect of the residents of Calaway Crossing, and earning the trust of Deputy Clementine. But perhaps the man, who her future sister-in-law called, muy sexy, had a heart buried somewhere deep beneath all that armor.

Book Four – The Last Ride

He was a thirty-year-old bull rider. In his mind, he knew he was nearing the end of his career. But in his heart, he wasn’t ready to give it up.

But we don’t always get what we want. A month before his thirty-first birthday, Copper Calaway took his last ride. Suddenly forced to face a life without rodeo. Copper returned to the family ranch to heal. But even his loving family couldn’t keep him from spiraling from the pain and self-medicating.

Finding a runaway horse and returning it to its owner, Lyric, a widow with two young boys, gave Cooper a new perspective on dealing with loss. As they forged an odd friendship and Cooper grew close to Lyric’s sons, he began to see the possibility of a different life after rodeo.

Their friendship may just save them both.
