Maggie Furey

Maggie Furey was born in North East England. She was a qualified teacher, but also reviewed books on BBC Radio Newcastle, was an advisor in the Durham Reading Resources Centre and organized children's book fairs. Resident in County Wicklow in Ireland for many years, she died there in 2016.
