Traitor's Gate

September 1645 and England is torn by a vicious civil war. The Royalist city of Chester has been under siege for many months and the people, once totally loyal to the king are now under constant bombardment and starving. Captain Harry Tyrell, a Parliamentary Intelligence officer, is sent into the city to find and kill the traitor who has been sending out false information to the besieging forces. Once in the city, however, he discovers that he is dealing with three traitors, one of whom is the beautiful Marguerite, the Governor's mistress. In this rollicking adventure story, Harry finds himself not only questioning his beliefs but falling in love.
