Emma Brighton goes home and there is a voice message from her sister Jade, asking when she is going to be back in Oregon. They have some decisions to make and she needs Emma there.
Jade sounds very happy for the first time in years and Emma is happy for her sister, but she also feels sad. When is she going to get her HEA?
Emma calls Jade but doesn’t commit to come right away. She doesn’t have much vacation since she used a lot when their mother died.
The next day, Emma has a bad day at work and quits on the spot.
Emma decides to move to Oregon, at least for the rest of the summer. It doesn’t take her long to rent her condo out. She arranges for movers to come and pack her things. She stores most of it but packs up her car tightly.
When she arrives in Oregon, she has a fun dinner with Jade. She is glad to be home but wishes her job hadn’t ended the way it had.
