A fancy farm-to-fork luncheon leads to foul play....

Farm-to-fork dining may be all about good health, but a chef's invitation-only locavore lunch at the zoo is anything but life-extending for one literary celebrity!

Wise-cracking seventy-something author Bea Sickles attends the upscale event with her marketing partner Angela expecting good food and boring small talk amongst writers, including several frenemies from a poker night recently hosted at Bea's inn.

Soon, though, Bea finds herself embroiled in a sudden suspicious death investigation. With no definitive proof of murder, police are quick to dismiss the case, but Bea's typically shrewd instincts tell her there's more simmering under the surface.

Teaming up with Angela to pore over clues the cops ignored, Bea cleverly pieces together the secrets, tensions, and financial motives that suggest that one of the luncheon's bookish guests may have served up a side dish of vengeance. But can Bea and Angela cook up enough evidence to convince law enforcement to hunt down the culinary killer before they get away clean?

Stick a Fork in Him is a longer sequel (novelette length) to Betty's Big Game. It can be read as a standalone, but it does contain spoilers for Betty's Big Game.
