Never one to shy away from riske titles - "Flesh", "Blown" and "Strange Relations" to mention but three - laying claim to a woman a day was the idle boast of stoned wasters in the late laid-back 60s, but it became passe in the 80s, when breadheads prevailed and Porsche-driving barrowboys had their 15 Warholian minutes in the sun.
