Coins in the House

Jake, an undercover agent for a secret government agency, is recovering from gunshot wounds when he learns his brothers are looking for him in Parker, Kentucky. He knew he was adopted, but he didn’t know he had brothers. Fingering the gold coin in his pocket, the only keepsake from before his adoption, he decides the man who shot him wouldn’t think to look for him in a little farm town in Kentucky. Living there would give him a chance to recuperate from his injuries, reconnect with his brothers, and learn about his natural family.

The crazy woman who owned the house he bought in Parker painted the rooms very dark, and he finds coins like the one he carries in his pocket hidden inside the walls. Could there be a connection between the coins, his adoption, and the bodies the FBI finds buried on the property?
