Max's Mystic Magic

Injured after a convoy attack in Iraq, Lieutenant Max Easton is recuperating at the Wounded Warrior facility in Crystal Rock, Wisconsin during the Christmas holidays. He's been told that the only way to save his deteriorating vision is an experimental operation, which may or may not work. When Max’s vision suddenly becomes worse, it becomes necessary to reschedule the operation.

Since Max’s surgeon won’t be available until after the new year, Max travels to an up-and-coming clinic in his former hometown of Mystic, Connecticut to not only have the surgery but to see the sights, in case it's the last time he's able.

Ophthalmologic Surgeon Gina Di Matteo can't believe that her grade school crush has returned to town when he walks into the clinic where she works. Much to her surprise, he remembers the shy little girl who used to follow him around when he was her brother's best friend. When Max asks Gina to give him a tour of Mystic, he realizes that having his vision fully restored might not be the only Christmas magic that he's wishing for.
