Zoë Fairbairns, novelist, short story writer, poet, radio writer, playwright, journalist and teacher, was born and grew up in the south of England. She was educated at St Catherine's Convent, Twickenham, the University of St Andrews, and the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg Virginia, USA. She lives in London
