The Dark

The darkness came without warning. First New York, then the rest of the United States, and then the world became enveloped in a perpetual night without end. With no sunlight, eventually the planet will wither and die, bringing on a new Ice Age. But, that isn't a problem for the human race, for humanity will be dead long before that happens. There is something in the dark, creatures only seen in nightmares, and they are on the prowl. Evolution has changed and man is no longer the dominant species. When we are children, we are told not to fear the dark, that what we believe to exist in the shadows is false. Unfortunately, that is no longer true.
