All shifters knew that they had a soul mate, one person that was your perfect match. Fate decided who it was and when they would come along. At nearly forty years old, I still hadn’t met mine, but I was okay with it. After growing up around my parent’s twisted relationship, I didn’t have a lot of faith in romantic love at all. Besides, I had other things on my plate since my brother died and I took over guardianship of my teenage niece.
