Bea Green studied English Literature and Art History at St Andrews University and currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was diagnosed with dyslexia at university, but fulfilled her life-long dream of writing fiction books a few years ago.
Having a Spanish mother, Bea has close emotional ties to Spain and her family there. Her book La Finca was based on her memories of her grandfather's olive tree farm and won silver in The Global Book Awards.
As her father was a British diplomat, Bea spent the early years of her life growing up in Brazil and Mexico. She has also spent time living in Cuba and Colombia. History and cultural influences are woven into her stories.
Her books are separated into her Langley art crime series and her stand-alone contemporary fiction books.
