Being pretty isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Nova Harbor would much rather be known for her brain than her symmetrical facial features, stunning bod, and eye-catching coloring.
As a research scientist for the secret section of the US government known as the Division of Paranormal Creatures & Activities, or DPCA for short, getting the big boys to notice her achievements is a heck of a lot harder than getting them to notice her assets. She does all she can to stay professional, but frustrations run rampant when she’s forced to work with a snobby feline and his oversized ego.
Working for the DPCA has always been Asher Donnelly’s dream job since he was a tiny cub. When an investigation leads to evidence of illegal experiments being done on Shifters, Asher is assigned to the case.
He’ll do anything to find the culprits, even if it means working with her, the woman the entire DPCA calls the face. Asher has no patience for the female whom office rumors say slept her way to a cushy job. The only problem is his Lion is quite taken with the beauty. But Asher has better things to do than chase her fluffy white tail.
Nova is aware of Asher’s low opinion of her. But this Snow Fox has nothing to prove. Especially not to a stubborn, butt-sniffing, litter-box-using overgrown house cat!
Will prejudices keep these two from solving the crime? Or will they become more than just co-workers?
