Usually when Samantha Elliott goes after a demon, she has to go track it down. This time, Sam and Jason are going to have to go track her down.
When Samantha turns up missing, she leaves not just Sam to fend for himself, but all of Eloin, and Eloin isn't the kind of place you just leave open for visitors.
