In the 1950s and 1960s the game was called scoring. It began at first base (the goodnight kiss), proceeded to second base (petting outside-the-clothes-above-the-waist), and occasionally, went on from there. This is the author's memoirs of his attempts at scoring, following on to a number of tragi-comic affairs. Marriage ended the game, and this funny, disarmingly candid, and finally touching story will bring back memories for men and women alike.
