Grandson of Richard Garnett

David Garnett was a scientist who abandoned his professional scientific career after the horrors of World War I to start his own bookshop. With his newfound free time he wrote a prizewinning novel, Lady Into Fox. He went on to writing full time winning prize after prize for his wonderful stories, including a three volume autobiography.
