Blood Calls for Blood: Book 1-3
(2023)(A book in the Blood Calls for Blood series)
An omnibus of novels by Edmond Geanta
In a mad rush to increase profits, a drug company releases a new chemical into the world that promises to keep food fresh in perpetuity. Only that has an adverse reaction on the population. Across the globe people die, then rise as zombies. Was this a diabolical plan carefully constructed by the elite or just an accident?
A unique twist on the zombie apocalypse that blends conspiracy theories, history, paranormal, and current events into a surprising story about the struggles of a seemingly ordinary family... Only there is nothing ordinary about them...
Gabi is a descendant of Vlad the Impaler who carries in her veins the long-forgotten blood traits of Dracula. Her husband, Rey is an Icelandic ex-special forces with more than a little Viking DNA but Eve, their five-year-old daughter, might be the one holding the answer to world salvation.
Circumstances grow dire when Gabi is attacked by zombies. Determined to cure his wife, Rey seeks the help of an old virologist friend—Jenkins, now a drunkard, fallen in the gutters of society. Running out of options, Jenkins decides to give Gabi a blood transfusion from her husband and her daughter.
This cocktail mixture of blood now running in Gabi’s veins triggers a radical transformation that results in a series of events not even the most diehard zombie-lover could've dreamt of. Life spirals out of control and a whole new reality opens up for this "ordinary family" - unique powers no human has ever seen plagues (or blesses) the Earth.
Is this transformation a curse, or just a part of human evolution?

"Wow. This book kinda freaked me out. Published during the pandemic, I noticed the similarities between what was going on in the book and what is currently going on in our world.
The action in this book seemed realistic too. The author did stretch the limits of realism to the max. For the average person, the physical encounters were easy to follow. I think there is just the right amount of action in comparison to the story itself. The idea of a person going through the transformation into a zombie and then into a vampire was quite novel. I don’t think I have ever read that before. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series."
"This isn't your average Zombie book! A very unique take that wasn't at all what I expected.
As someone who loves a character-driven story I was immediately drawn to the family dynamic portrayed early on. It adds a lot of heart to the story.
If you're a zombie fan and looking for a different take on the genre I would say this series if worth checking out."
