With Hollie and Ryan settled into their new love nest (complete with the perfect bathtub!), theyre ready to tackle lifes next big adventure. Or at least thats what Hollie whispers to herself to keep from hopping the first float plane back to Revelation Cove. While Hollies knack for boosting the resorts bookings has been boss for business, its the lovebirds desire to spend more time together during the hockey season that leads her to a part-time gig in the marketing department at the major junior club where Ryan is head coach. Ice, ice, baby!
But within days of the ink drying on her employment contract, Hollie is asked to take the reins of a brand-new initiativethe Langley Cougars, a community-supported youth hockey teamafter the original coach is benched with a nasty case of shingles. Heres the catch: Hollie may be married to a hunky hockey hero, but she knows nothing about coaching. Or skating, for that matter.
Hilariously unprepared, Hollie does her best to rise to the occasion, battling her own doubts (and comedic mishaps) on the ice, with support from Ryan and friends. Amid the chaos, a routine medical check-up brings disheartening news about Hollies fertility, shattering her belief that starting their raft would be as simple as a spicy, bubbly fueled night in their fancy magic tub.
Enter Britton, a young boy who loves hockey almost as much as he loves his dying mom. His arrival adds a welcome dynamic to the Cougars, and Hollie finds herself in an unexpected, though not unwelcome, role for Britt. As she and Ryan grow closer to the kid with the mean slap shot, they consider if their path to parenthood might unfold in a different way than theyd anticipated.
Add to the mix Nurse Bobs wildly successful (and saucy) new endeavor, a surprise engagement in the family, and unforeseen upheaval at the Cove, and Hollie and Ryan arent sure whose tail theyre chasing as they wrangle these freshly caught challenges.
Through it all, however, they cling to the promise that keeps their love afloat: Our raft, our rules.
