No Man's Land

(2017)
(The third book in the Captain Riley series)
A novel by

NO MAN'S LAND takes place at the end of August of 1937, in the days prior to the Battle of Belchite in the Spanish Civil War, but is in no way a novel of war.
It is a thrilling tale of adventure full of humor, starring Alex Riley and his loyal friend Joaquin Alcantara, volunteers in the Lincoln Batallion, who unintentionally find themselves mixed up in a daring rescue mission under the very noses of Franco's Army.

The episode I describe in this book took place a few years before the events described in the novel Captain Riley, and is one of those stories usually told by the fireside or at the end of a long evening, with a glass in one hand and one's gaze lost somewhere in memory.
The story of NO MAN'S LAND could be called a novella, or perhaps a long short story (145 pages, you can be the judge of that), which does not require you to have read Captain Riley in order to enjoy it. A story filled with action, humor and a few added drops of love, which you might find hard to tear yourself away from at night so as to go to sleep.

Well, reader-friend, I think this is all I had to say. I hope you enjoy the adventure, and that this will just be one more of the many journeys we will share from now on.
