Jennifer Gilmore's first novel, Golden Country, was a New York Times Notable Book of 2006, and a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. Her work has appeared in magazines, journals and anthologies including Allure, BookForum, The Los Angeles Times, Nerve, The New York Times Magazine, The New York Times Book Review, Self, The Seattle Weekly and Salon. Her next novel is scheduled for publication in April 2010. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.
