John Gano is a pseudonym for Freddie Stockdale. He has two great passions: opera and criminology. His knowledge of criminology is equally well informed having specialised when reading law at Cambridge. He also spent several years as a prison visitor. He draws on his professional knowledge to create believable mysteries and convincing detectives.
